Who it is for
Lazy Map is made for people who think in associations rather than in lists. For those who have ten ideas at once and lose the first one while writing down the second. The app is drawn from that experience: you open it, you write, the map tidies itself.
It is not reserved for atypical brains. It is simply designed for them first, which is what makes it comfortable for everyone.
What it does
- Unlimited maps. No quota, no limit on the number of nodes.
- Automatic layout. Nothing to align by hand: the map reorganises itself as it grows.
- Image and SVG export. To send a map, print it, drop it into a document, or rework it in a graphics app.
- A bridge to text outlines. A map can be built from a written outline, and exports back as one to be picked up elsewhere.
- Fully offline. On the underground, on a plane, with no signal: nothing changes.
What it does not do
- No syncing between devices. Maps live on the phone, and nowhere else.
- No collaboration. It is a personal tool.
- No account, so no remote recovery. With no account there is nobody to ask to restore your maps: exporting doubles as your backup.
- No iPhone version. Android only.
- No advertising, ever.

What it costs
Lazy Map is paid for, through a yearly, not monthly subscription. The price and the length of the free trial are on its Play Store listing, which is the only place kept up to date. The subscription is handled by Google Play: it renews from one year to the next, it can be cancelled at any time, and the app warns you before it renews so that nobody is charged by surprise.
When the trial ends, the app stops writing but it still reads and exports for life. Your maps stay yours, readable and recoverable, whether you subscribe or not. The subscription unlocks writing.
What it knows about you
Nothing. There is no account, no server, no tracker, no ad network. Maps are stored on the phone and only leave it if you export them yourself. The details are in the privacy policy, which is in French for now.

Do I have to create an account?
